Photos of dogs are not helpful on reviews of motorhome sites

Doing my homework before setting off on another trek around Europe, so I am looking for a convenient overnight stop to break the journey to Portsmouth. While looking at motorhome sites I am struck by how many reviewers post photos of their dogs. The dog in the photo of the site, the pitch, the facilities I don’t mind. But what use is a photo of a dog on its own — nothing else?

I’m sure you love your dog and believe that a photo of fido is very important, but how does it help others to decide whether or not a particular motorhome site is suitable for them?

What I want is photos of the facilities — in particular the cassette emptying point, the grey water disposal point and the fresh water. Is the site sloping, is the access gate narrow, what is the road surface?

A photo of a dog will not tell me anything about the important aspects of the site.
