Northern Italy and Southern France by Hymer Motorhome

San Remo and Cannes a day of being driven on a coach with short dance interludes

Almost 5 hours being driven on a coach today, far too much. Coach was 45 minutes late arriving to pick us up. Our first call was at San Remo, where we disembarked, made a short procession and performed a few dances in a shopping street. We were collected by the coach and endured an interminable drive to Cannes, where we were deposited close to the casino. Another town like Blackpool. We walked to the promenade and performed several dances. Dancing was not easy because the crowds of people walking did not want to walk around us.

The coach journey back to San Bartolomeo seemed endless. Both Gill and I were feeling travel sick when we arrived back at 8pm. There is another coach outing tomorrow, but neither of us are really keen on going. We have our motorhome and will be spending a long time touring whereas the other members of the group will be taking a flight home.
