Swedish Square Dance Convention, Sigtuna

Our trek to Sigtuna for the Swedish Square Dance Convention 2024

Following the Viking Squares campout at the end of May 2024 we set off for Sigtuna, a small town a little north of Stockholm in Sweden. Our destination was another Square Dance event, but on a much larger scale. On the Saturday there were more than 650 dancers present at the large sports facility, with three massive halls in use for simultaneous sessions of American Square Dancing at different levels of complexity. Our route is shown in the map.
