Another memorable motorhome tour through the northern part of France; our intention was to cross to France via Le Shuttle then make a fast journey to the Languedoc area to view Roman sites in France, then wine tasting and purchase of red wines, over the border into Spain with a call in Andorra, heading back to Calais on the Peage calling off at the British Cemetery at Pozieres where one of Gill’s relatives is commemorated.
The hot weather at the beginning of September was very debilitating, so we changed our plans and stayed in the northern part of France. We revisited Mittelbergheim and purchased crémants and still wines too. By the end of September we were cold at night although that’s easier to deal with than being too hot.
Our motorhome trip report will be here as soon as possible, here’s the route.
