There is a light drizzle when we wake which lasts on and off for most of the morning. We are parked on the parking area outside the church and walk the short distance to the holiday house where the family are staying. Today, Roger brings Evan to the camper and he climbs in bed with us and we have stories for about half an hour. As is usual, Evan tells Alan it is time to get up and make porridge… so off they go, 100m down the hill to the gite and I have 20 minutes to myself!

We spend the morning in the gite with Roger and Rachel. At lunchtime the weather brightens up and they take a picnic to Josselin chateau. We go back to the Hymer for lunch and catch up on some writing. Later, we walk down the hill towards Gouerec village but decide it is too far and the hill too steep so walk back through Rosquelfen village. The afternoon is warm and sunny, and we sit in the garden at Les Horondelles. Roger sends a text to say they will be home by 6.00pm, so I cook chicken for them and a pan of salmon and vegetables for us. Later, two very tired children arrive and tell us about their day. Children in bed, we sit out in the evening sunshine and enjoy the ambiance and play scrabble (Roger wins!).

A relaxing day not doing any travel and being with family. One of the benefits of the motorhome is that we often arrange our travel to meet family when they are in Europe. It must seem different to them to have parents visiting whilst they are on holiday.
