2025 September: Myrtle Farm Campsite to Home

At Myrtle Farm Camping we are up and breakfast early,  we decide to just get on our way (never quite knowing how the M6 north will be), no servicing and away by 10.00am (still in holiday mode it is a leisurely start…). Onto M5 which is busy around Bristol and north to Birmingham. Although the traffic is heavy there are no holdups here, on to South Stafford Services where we stop for lunch. Back on the M6 by 2.00pm and an uneventful drive home arriving about 4.30pm. We unpack Hymer, many boxes of wine, just the right number to stay within the UK’s duty-free allowance, then set the washing machine going with load number one (clothes)! There is some chicken in the fridge so Thai green curry for tea and an early night.
